Thank you for your interest in the Medicare Congress. The 2012 program was a great success, made possible by an unmatched speaking faculty sharing critical knowledge on how to overcome the biggest challenges facing the Medicare marketplace.
The event started off with a standing-room-only strategic outlook for Medicare Advantage plans delivered by John Gorman from the Gorman Health Group. We then quickly launched into topical – and at times controversial – discussions of how the 2012 election will shape the future of Medicare spending and key clauses in the Affordable Care Act, as outlined by political experts
Fred Barnes from the Weekly Standard, Joseph Antos from the
American Enterprise Institute, and Rick Ungar from Forbes.
Major focus areas throughout the event included best practice for
improving Star Ratings, avoiding and surviving CMS sanctions, and
building the marketing and retention methods that can keep plans
profitable even during a sluggish economy. In addition, our in-depth
summits proved to be highly appealing, as they offered detailed
and interactive presentations on how health plans should interact
with ACOs and how to ensure every level of an organization
is maintaining regulatory compliance.
We hope you had a wonderful time at the event, and would like to
