David Ehrhardt has designed, implemented or advised on P3s and privatizations in Australia, the UK and many other countries, and the following sectors: Transportation sector—five PPP projects totalling $4.4 billion in value; Water sector—ten P3 projects worth over $1 billion in total; Energy and telecommunications at least eight PP transactions with a value in excess of $11.6 billion. Because of his extensive experience he is often asked by governments around the world to advise on best practice for P3 programs. His publications include Approaches to Private Participation in Water: A Toolkit; Good Practice in Long-Term P3 Contract Design; and Sample Management Contract and Bidding Documents for Water and Electricity. Mr. Ehrhardt has a First Class Honours Degree in Economics from the University of Otago, and a Law degree from the University of Victoria.
