Building the software right is not the same as building the right software. What if, rather than relying solely on requirements documents, static mock-ups, and Visio wire frames, you could easily create a visual and interactive experience early in the project lifecycle to help all team members to *try* the system – before a line of code is written? What if this could be accomplished easily by non-technical types? Would you get better requirements? Design better interactions? Better manage expectations? Deliver the right software? This talk will discuss the challenges in application definition and suggest an alternative approach that includes a discussion on learning styles and case examples where simulation is being successfully used today.

The BAs integrate multidisciplinary project teams pertaining to different project or program classes: business development, process optimization/business transformation, conformity (SOX, Canadian Payments Association, Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions), and major legacy programs aimed at renewing its imposing IT infrastructure.

Using specific examples of past and current projects, our report depicts how criteria for process tailoring are used to personalize the approach and thus maximize the benefits from the BA contribution to individual projects.
