The Next Big Thing is a new element to Prepaid Expo, featuring Live demos on up and coming financial and technological innovations in prepaid.
We're inviting all established prepaid companies, new entrants and start ups to apply for the opportunity to present short (10 minute), fast paced (no slides or videos) demos to leading executives, venture capitalists, and press in the Prepaid Expo audience.

How do I apply:
- Complete web application by January 27, 2012
- Applications will be evaluated by an Advisory Board.
- Winners will be contacted by February 10 and a time slot will be confirmed

A panel of Prepaid industry experts will determine who demos their product/ solution based on selection criteria.

What happens if my company is selected?
All selected companies receive the following:

- Ten minutes to demonstrate your innovative product or service on the Exhibit Hall stage (no slides or video allowed)
- A station in “Demo Alley” in the Exhibit Hall, which allows you to show off your product and network with attendees during the networking break following the formal demonstration
- Access to Prepaid Marketplace, the Prepaid Expo attendee web site that allows you to see who is coming to Prepaid Expo and schedule meetings before the event
- A list of the press and industry analysts attending the event to maximize your publicity outreach
- Exposure on the Prepaid Expo web site, Linked In “Prepaid Professionals” group, Prepaid Expo blog, On-site event guide and relevant emails to our attendees.
- Post-conference summary on Prepaid TV
- The ability to extend a speaker discount to additional colleagues who would like to attend the event
- A (remote) run through of the demo with the event organizer will take place by February 29, 2012. If the demo is not ready by this time, Prepaid Expo reserves the right to remove it from the line up.

No, participation (pending approval) is included in your registration fee. However, if you wish to secure the cheapest rates to attend, we recommend registering now, rather than waiting for approval to participate.

What types of companies are allowed to apply?
Any company related to the Prepaid industry, including banks, financial institutions, retailers, incentive companies, and mobile payments companies are welcome to apply to demo.

How does this differ from the Innovation Showcase?
The Innovation Showcase features select Sponsor and Exhibitor presentations on topics of their choosing during the Networking Breaks in the Exhibit Hall. A limited number of Innovation Showcase slots are available as part of a sponsorship or exhibitor contract. Contact tsobol@iirusa.com for information about Innovation Showcase or exhibiting in the Hall.
