Jim's client base includes the Walt Disney Corporation, Nestle, the American Society for Quality, Verizon, the British Broadcasting Corporation, the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association, and the Swiss Innovation Forum, to name but a few. He was just featured in Fast Company for his insight on the recent rapid trends in the global economy. He is a big believer that the future belongs to those who challenge themselves to keep up with fast paced consumer change. | Dr. Niall Fraser As founder of Open Options Corporation, Niall Fraser's research work formed the basis of the strategic software technology developed by the firm. As principal scientist, Niall is also responsible for the ongoing technical development of the Open Options software and for managing key client applications, including a wide range of manufacturing and service companies around the world as well as Canadian military and federal government organizations, US intelligence and military agencies, and international research firms.
Prior to founding Open Options, Niall was a professor at the University of Waterloo in the department of management sciences. During that time, his academic research interests included conflict analysis, multiple criteria decision making, game theory, bargaining and negotiation, and compliance verification.
Niall holds a Ph.D. in System Design Engineering. He is the author of four books and has also written more than 150 academic publications appearing in journals such as Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis, European Journal of Operations Research, Interfaces, Theory and Decision, and Group Decision and Negotiation. | Janet Giesselman Janet Giesselman was named General Manager of the Dow Oil and Gas business for the Dow Chemical Company in June 2007. In this role she is accountable for leading the business strategy and launch for this new market facing business. Prior to this role she served as Vice President of Dow’s latex business based in Horgen, Switzerland.
Giesselman joined Dow in 2001 as Vice President of Disease Management and was later promoted to Vice President, Corporate Affairs for Dow AgroSciences in 2002. As V.P. of Corporate affairs she led Dow AgroSciences strategy and Global Government, Public and Regulatory Affairs.
Prior to Dow, Giesselman held various leadership positions in General Management, Sales, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain for Rohm & Haas. In her role as European business director based in Paris, France, she led the agrochemicals business. In 1997, she served as regional business and strategic planning director for Asia-Pacific. In 1996-1997, Giesselman was chairman of the Board of RohMid, LLC.
Giesselman has a Master of Science degree from the University of Florida, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University. | Wayne L. Delker, Ph.D. Vice President – Global Research & Development, The Clorox Company Wayne L. Delker has been vice president - Global Research & Development since 1999. In this role, he serves as the company's chief technical and environmental executive, leading worldwide R&D of all of the company's products, providing technical and scientific guidance within the operating divisions and other staff functions, and overseeing the company's health, safety and environmental activities. He also leads Clorox's multifunctional process for developing new products and improving existing products. Prior to joining Clorox, Delker spent 14 years with General Electric, where he served as general manager of Six Sigma Quality for GE Silicones and general manager of Technology for GE Silicones. He also worked for five years as a research chemist for Union Carbide. A native of Pennsylvania, Delker holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Chicago. He received his Ph.D. in chemistry from Columbia University. | |
