Thank you for attending the 9th Annual Private Equity Tax & Compliance Practices Forum!
The 2010 program had an added emphasis on compliance and international issues, topics that continue to be at the forefront of private equity industry news.
After the intensive morning workshops, keynote speaker Ken Kies, Managing Director of the Federal Policy Group kicked the conference off with an enlightening look at the current economic environment and his outlook for the future. Our Voice of the Audience panel, featuring Private Equity Tax & Compliance “All Stars” was a great success. Joe Newberg of Weil, Gotshal & Manges; Fred Sroka of PriceWaterhouseCoopers; and Arnold May of Proskauer Rose were on hand to answer general and specific questions from our audience, and many of you told us it was one of the highlights of the program. Look for this format to be repeated next year! Other highlights included our international panels, the Spotlight Sessions on energy investing and sovereign wealth funds, as well as our informative Roundtables.
A special thank you goes out to our sponsors, Alston and Bird and CBIZ Tofias, particularly to Sam Kaywood and Matthew Stevens of Alston and Bird and David Bussius of CBIZ Tofias for their excellent additions to the program!
We were delighted to see that attendance was up by XX% this year, and we are looking forward to building on this momentum for next year.
