Roger Berry

Roger Berry, Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer, Walt Disney Parks & Resorts 

Roger Berry leads the Information Technology division of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts (WDP&R) and is responsible for the Segment's creative IT efforts across the globe.  The Segment includes five Disney Resorts (including 11 theme parks) around the world, the Disney Cruise Line, Disney Vacation Club and the Adventures by Disney travel business.

Roger began his Disney career in 2000 as SVP and CIO for Walt Disney World.  Roger served as the interim CIO for the Walt Disney Company from October 2003 to January 2005 while also serving as the SVP and CIO for Walt Disney World.   

Before joining The Walt Disney Company, Roger served as corporate vice president and chief information officer for the Campbell Soup family of companies in Camden, NJ, where he was responsible for all information technology services for the company worldwide. Prior to that, Roger was vice president and chief information officer for Tenneco.  He joined Tenneco as corporate director for EDP audit in 1982 and progressed through several roles before becoming CIO of Tenneco Gas Inc. (now El Paso Energy) in 1990.

In 2002, Roger was selected one of the top 100 CIO's in the country by CIO Magazine.

In October 2003, Roger was appointed to the technology board for the state of Florida at the request of Governor Jeb Bush.

Roger is a member of the Walt Disney Parks & Resorts World Wide Operations Steering Committee, the Walt Disney World Steering Committee and The Walt Disney Company's IT Leadership Board.

Originally from Houston, TX, Roger earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Houston.
