George Paras

Mr. Paras is a widely recognized speaker, writer, coach and thought leader in Enterprise Architecture, Strategy and Planning, Portfolio Management and IT Governance with more than 26 years of information technology and business experience. He has coached hundreds of IT leaders in the practical aspects of creating effective and successful EA programs at organizations of all sizes, in every industry and in government. His insights and perspectives have advanced the EA discipline through his positions as Chairman, featured speaker and EAC Thought Leadership Council member for the Enterprise Architecture Conference and as Editor-in-Chief of Architecture and Governance Magazine. Mr. Paras has also held positions as VP and Service Director of the Enterprise Planning and Architecture Strategies group at META Group, VP of Strategy and Troux Technologies, Senior Enterprise Architect at a major airline and with IBM and several start-up technology companies. He is currently a managing director at EAdirections, which he founded with Larry R. DeBoever and Tim Westbrock.
