Onsite Tips:
- If you come with a group, split up to diversify the information you bring back to the office
- Bring plenty of business cards
- Come with an open mind
- To ensure your personal comfort, bring a light jacket or sweater that you can put on or take off if you find the room too cool or too warm
- Speak up and ask questions – it's the best way to get the information you're looking for
- Keep a log of action points that you can implement immediately when you get back to the office
- Complete and turn in your conference evaluation forms – that's the best way to let us know what YOU want
- Take notes – due to confidentiality policies at some companies, full presentations may not all be available on the conference CD
And for events that feature multiple concurrent tracks...
- Read the full agenda beforehand to select which sessions are best for you
- Remember your rights: you can always get up and go to another session if the one you selected does not meet your standards

Testimonials:
"I have to say that you did a phenomenal job with the facilitation of the conference. You assembled a great group of speakers with a wide variety of expertise. As a company just starting to test the waters of PMO, the knowledge and insight were invaluable."
– Paige Horton, ADP
"At the center of a fast changing technology environment, I found myself trying to manage too many projects initiated to achieve avariety of business goals with competing IT resources and ever changing priorities. I was researching skills needed to hire a newbusiness analyst when I came across the ProjectWorld 2005 Conference. I and a peer were intrigued by the write up of the Best Practices on Establishing & Managing a PMO session; the PMO concept was completely new to us. After the first speaker it was clear this was the solution we had been looking for to bring our three application support groups out of individual silos and force us to work better as a management team. Throughout the two-day session we were greatly inspired with each speaker sharing their failures and successes. Our excitement was so great we had a proposal drafted to present to our director before we left. Upon our return, my enthusiasm earned me the position of the new PMO Administrator for our organization."
– Sandra L. Trantina, PMO Administrator, Lee County Clerk of Courts
