FEI EMEA 2012 Challenge:
How do you sell your innovation internally?
Innovation managers these days find it difficult to fight for the budget and the
relevance of innovation within a large corporation. How do you sell-up your
idea to ensure buy-in, commitment, and follow-through from senior leadership?
ATTENDEE-SOURCING™
All too often, conferences become simply a platform for presenting what's
already been done. Case studies from different companies share what has
and hasn't worked.
While IIR conferences continue to recognize the value in this format, our
conferences have evolved into a platform for creating future practices by
putting the experience to work. Utilizing the combined intelligence of the
participating group, the conference truly acts as a catalyst to change.
Each year, IIR partners with a top innovation company, using their skills and
unique approach to lead a session we call "Connect Meaningfully
Through a
Challenge™."
This intellectual property will be owned by the event and all those
participating for future use by attending companies. By leveraging the
collective wisdom and experience of the uniquely qualified professionals in
attendance at an event, IIR attendee-sources™ the congress to problem solve
on-site and in real time.
The approach is structured, facilitated and focused on an overarching
common and timely industry challenge. Throughout the event, the dynamic
group of attendees come together to produce real solutions through
co-creation. This proprietary approach involves collaborating through
brainstorms,
problem
solving exercises and prototyping sessions. The results
are published, trademarked and
distributed to all participants. |
