Metrics Champion Consortium

The Metrics Champion Consortium (MCC) is an open, multidisciplinary, non-profit organization committed to the development of worldwide industry standards to measure the performance of biotechnology and pharmaceutical service providers. The mission of the MCC is to develop and support Service Provider performance metrics within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry with the intent to jointly encourage performance improvement, effectiveness, efficiency, and appropriate levels of controls. The utilization of standard industry-wide service provider performance metrics can improve the quality and efficiency of data collection and reporting, while reducing costs for biotechnology and pharmaceutical sponsors and their service providers.

Oracle Clinical User Group

The Oracle Clinical User Group (OCUG) is an international group of users of the Oracle Clinical software and related applications. Oracle Clinical is a database system for capturing, storing and processing clinical trial data.

The purpose of the OCUG is to facilitate the exchange of information and experience among users of the system, and to support and guide the Oracle Corporation with respect to further development of the products within the Oracle Pharmaceutical Applications (OPA) suite.

The OCUG is managed by an Executive Committee that includes representatives from a diverse selection of companies.

The communication vehicles are scheduled teleconferences, electronic mail, face-to-face meetings, annual OCUG meetings and this web site.
