The Conference Producer researches, develops and produces niche-oriented conferences for business executives, and works closely with their Division Manager, Marketing Manager, Sales, and support staff.

Specifically, responsibilities include:

• Conducting market research on potential conference topics
• Identifying target markets
• Recruiting speakers
• Writing brochures
• Writing marketing briefs and sales copy
• Presenting viable leads to sponsorship sales
• Managing conferences on-site

A variety of backgrounds and professional experiences may be suitable for this entrepreneurial position. We are particularly interested if you have had experience in the conference industry, or publishing, project management, market research, journalism, or experience specific to one or more of the industries that we cover.

All candidates must have:

• A college degree
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to meet deadlines
• A self-starter with a keen commercial sense
• Strong networking and relationship building skills
• The ability to spot industry trends and issues
