John Goodale of TSYS will discuss the state of the current prepaid market in Europe and offer his insights into its development and future.  He will discuss which countries are in the lead in terms of readiness and which countries lag as well as the applications of closed loop versus open loop prepaid and where the logical fits will be in the key European markets.

John Goodale is responsible for the prepaid line of business. With a strong background in cards across banking and retail sectors, John's success in developing TSYS' closed loop card proposition provided the perfect experience needed to lead TSYS Europe's branded prepaid cards initiative. In working with some of the largest prepaid
programs in Europe, Asia and North America, John has gained an invaluable insight into how the experiences from each of these markets can be applied for the benefit of European issuers.

John is also on the Management Board for the Prepaid International Forum and leads the Business Models Working Group.
